Bridget Jones is back and crazier than ever.

And, not forgetting, the gorgeous and dashing Mark Darcy.

Review:
Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, is very much the same as its predecessor Bridget Jones's Diary (my review can be found here). It is funny, cheesy and unbelieving engrossing for women everywhere. Not to mention; it is not a patch on the film!

However, it, at points, it is a bit too similar to the first book in terms of the repetitiveness of some things. I am not going to lie, it is an amazing book but, at points, I found myself getting bored because it was the same themes and issues being repeated over and over again. Even though I can see why Fielding did this; it got on my nerves and slowed down the pace of the story for me...

As I mentioned about the other book, Fielding's imagination and confidence in her writing; never fails to amaze me. I mean, some of the situations Bridget finds herself in are just too wacky and funny; it is hard to imagine how anyone could come up with them. Her simple and original writing style, and her ability to tell the truth about the minds of women, is what makes this series of books so enjoyable and such a classic for the ChickLit genre. I am so glad I decided to read this series which are must-reads for women everywhere!

Rating: 8/10. Wacky, easy-read.
