Review:
This was my second attempt at reading Pride and Prejudice and Zombies as I literally had nothing else to read until my Amazon order arrived!
In my honest opinion, I do not think that this book is anything special. I was initially drawn to this book because I love anything to do with zombies but, much to my disappointment, they hardly featured at all throughout the plot. They were kind of used as a background threat with the majority of the plot revolving around the lives of the Bennett sisters. This is however understandable seeing as though the zombies merely expand the classic story of Pride and Prejudice. Nonetheless, I was very disappointed.
As I have not read the original Pride and Prejudice I feel that I cannot really comment on how far the story was expanded and how much was altered to accommodate the zombies. However, I feel that readers - like myself - who struggle to read and get through classic books; this is a perfect eye-opener and entry point.
Rating: 3/10. Not my cup of tea. The film is quite good though...
