Review:
I have been wanting to try one of these therapeutic colouring books for adults for quite some time, so I thought what better time to try it out during one of the most stressful years of my life; final year of university!

There are so many of these colouring books on the market today, it was hard to chose. However, after pondering the selection in the store for about twenty minutes (I kid you now, my boyfriend was waiting for me to decide and was not happy!) I decided on
Creative Therapy: An Anti-Stress Colouring Book as the A4 designs inside are so beautiful and intricate. Plus, I am a big fan of Michael O'Mara Books as I did work experience there a couple of years ago and the people who work there are lovely!

Okay, so the purpose of this book is to help relieve stress and to help you relax. Whilst it work, and certainly helps take my mind off of things that I am worried about; I found myself getting continually stressed about colouring in the lines and making sure the colours I used went together. However, maybe this is just the perfectionist in me? I think that it is not about making sure the colours match, or that every picture is perfectly filled in but about doing what you want and not caring! Which, I have to admit, is quite nice.
I have only coloured in a couple of small sections of pictures, as they take quite a while to do!
However, this hopefully means that the book will last quite a while and see me through the tough year ahead!
Rating: 8/10. There is nothing wrong with a bit of colouring when you are 21!
