Review:
I love everything Harry Potter. The books. The films. Everything. And as I have always found the way the films were created fascinated (I've been to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter Studio Tour five times...) I was eager to read this book to learn a bit more about the series.

The book itself offers some interesting information and behind the scenes photos and secrets into how the films were made. It really shows how much hard work and dedication were put into the films and how the films were groundbreaking in helping establish new working practices in animation and animatronics in the industry. However, I think more detail could have been included as the textual parts were very short.

Whilst the textual information is quite limited in the book, the concept artwork of the different creatures certainly makes up for this. The artwork which was created by different artists really show how everyone can interpret J. K. Rowling's writing differently and how we each have our own ideas on how the creatures should look. I even found myself skim reading the text and just staring at each piece of artwork for a few minutes!

Rating: 8/10. A must read for any Harry Potter fan!
