Review:
I started reading this book thinking it would be a nice and easy read like the average young adult novel. It is easy to say that I was not disappointed and read this book in less than a day.

Like The Fault in Our Stars (read my review here), another John Green book, Paper Towns had an interesting plot with characters which draw you in and make you intrigued to read on. However, whilst the plot aimed to make you really think about your life and the society we live in - I feel like I did not really take much away from this book, apart from it letting me to fill a couple of hours on boring weekend where all I wanted to do was laze in the sun. I mean, it tries to make you really think but you just end up blocking out any moral story it tries to give you and you just go with the flow like any other piece of young adult fiction.

That saying, if you like young adult fiction - you will probably love this book and the characters as it is a stereotypical piece of the genre. Even if it is a little boring in the middle!

Nonetheless, the concept of actual paper towns is actually quite interesting...

Review: 7/10. Nothing special but worth a read if you like the genre.
