Review:
I think this is the perfect holiday book as it is short, sweet and ever-so cheesy.

Rather oddly this story of romance is centred around a meat packing plant in the Scottish highlands. Although, I found this quite unusual at first; as the story developed I felt this was nicely linked to the tranquility of the farm and was the perfect, yet unconventional, back-drop to the protagonists's romance.

Even though the characters were well developed and had a clear history and background; I felt their speech was too stiff and cliché. I found myself cringing at some of the cheesy romantic things they were saying! No one would realistically speak like that in real life.

However, I felt that my overall enjoyment of the book was kind of ruined by the e-Book formatting and, what I felt was, a lack of proofreading. Once I noticed these things I found it extremely hard to stop noticing them.

Rating: 4/10.
